Budget (including currency): $1000 USD

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: mainly Minecraft, some csgo, call of duty

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): already have the peripherals, upgrading from nothing, just 60hz 1080p

If you skip the gpu and go with an APU you can save some money. I'd just really hate to see someone buy a 1050 for almost 300$ as it doesn't deliver a 300$ experience and was never meant to.

Thanks for the tip, I mainly have the gpu in there as a placeholder, I’ve been looking for gpus on craigslist and Facebook marketplace and the such but haven’t found anything yet

I just noticed the power supply......

Please keep in mind the power supply you picked is plugged into your wall and costs less than breakfast for two people.... Please look at the power supply sticky and change it

My friend just build this. It is well under your budget so you could go with an AMD 5700G for some extra performance. More drives can always be purchased for extra storage if you need it. I'd also check for other motherboards if you have more budget. Things like a m.2 ssd heatsink could be nice.

You are saving for everything else to buy a 1050 just as a placeholder, When you get better GPU, You'll be left with not very good system, That's why building 5700G system is much better option, When u get GPU, you'll have good system on hands. 5700G have almost as same performance as 5600X have. So here you go: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TYJnbh

No No No 😅

B450 Is old chipset, It does support this processor, But will certainly need BIOS update, As well as you'll be leaving very important features on table if U buy B450, There is really no reason for it.

3000 RAMs are too slow, It will almost botleneck your system, Because 5700G have integrated GPU, That uses shared memory from RAM, Slow ram means much slower iGPU, As well as Ryzen CPU's favor fast memory's, So no, You should definitely not downgrade it.

The stock cooler might be okey, But won't cool as good as third party solution will, So at least get this https://pcpartpicker.com/product/VTqBD3/id-cooling-se-224-xt-basic-7616-cfm-cpu-cooler-se-224-xt-basic

H510 is bad case, It have very bad cooling capability, So no, You should not buy it.

Here is a better version of your choices https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Bm4gVc

Mount 3 fans as intake in front of the case and replace rear fan, that comes with case and mount noctua fan as an exhaust, Or mount it on top if you are okey with mismatching fans 😄 😄
