I do have a folder installed called "Mystic_Light_SDK" if thats what you were asking for, it has two .dll files and a .h file, I downloaded it from the bottom of this page.

dont worry about the SDK. this getting overly complicated. the solution should be simple.

let's take it from the top again. I know you said all the lighting was working when you first booted. however after rereading you OG statement

have the AIO and its fans all daisy-chained together and are connected to JRAINBOW1 on my motherboard.

I have connected an rgb splitter to the JRAINBOW2 port and connected my front panel rgb and the two deepcool fans to that.

tells me you might have it connected wrong.

double check connection for J1. J2 is definitely wrong. page 12 of the user manual for your case  show that it is it own controller and its power from the psu and has it's own switch.

please confirm.

I have just built my first pc and so im pretty new to basically everything. I have installed many parts that have rgb (listed below), but i cant seem to get them working except for the gpu and ram. I installed msi dragon centre to see if that helped but it only let me control the color of the gpu and ram and still nothing else. I also tried third party software (like jacknet rgb) but that didnt help either.

The first time i booted up my system, all the rgb from every part turned on and was in the regular rainbow mode.

but when I installed msi dragon centre all the rgb froze except for the ram and gpu.

I then turned my pc on and off to see if that fixed the problem but now all the rgb (except for ram and gpu) is completely off.

Here are all the rgb components in the system I built:

MSI MAG B560 Tomahawk WIFI

Patriot Viper RGB 8GB 3200MHz (x2)

MSI Gaming X GTX 1070 8G

MSI MAG Vampiric 100R

MSI Coreliquid 360R (+included rgb fans)

Deepcool CF120 (x2)

I have the AIO and its fans all daisy-chained together and are connected to JRAINBOW1 on my motherboard.

I have connected an rgb splitter to the JRAINBOW2 port and connected my front panel rgb and the two deepcool fans to that.

if this is a sotware issue, sorry for posting in the incorrect forum.

MSI Dragon Center is not a good software to be used for controlling RGB. Try to see if your hardware supports any other software like Razer Chroma for example

if you want to try to see if it works with this here is the download link - https://www.razer.com/synapse-3

downloading synapse 3 should have razer chroma with it. But also make sure too disable Mystic Light

I have updated my chipset driver and downloaded synapse 3. I added the modules chroma studio and chroma connect but they both say there are no devices detected.

I have also completely deinstalled msi dragon centre as it was weirdly showing up as a device in chroma connect but didnt change anything to the rgb in my pc.

The page that shows up with "View supported devices" in the first image, is https://www.razer.com/chroma-workshop#--connected-devices, this site lists both msi and deepcool

I have installed msi mystic light and msi center, however now I do get my motherboard detected in

my devices. the rgb on the motherboard and fans still dont work though, i can change them in the software and it gives no errors, it just doesnt do anything to the actual components. the ram and gpu are both still completely controllable through msi center.

there is an apply button in the bottom right corner I believe. did you select apply

Yes I did select the apply button every time, the program showed a preview of how the motherboard rgb should look, but it didnt do anything.

I wasnt able to find any setting in the bios about argb headers except for the “ez led control” option, which i turned on and off (with a restart in between) but it didnt change anything. I also looked at the physical ez led switch on the motherboard, but the manual says it is in the “on” posistion.

I looked through msi center but could not find anything mentioning SDK outside of "MSI SDK Update remind". I also installed dragon center but could not find anything mentioning sdk either. I also went through the bios again just to be sure but couldnt find anything

I do have a folder installed called "Mystic_Light_SDK" if thats what you were asking for, it has two .dll files and a .h file, I downloaded it from the bottom of this page.

tells me you might have it connected wrong.

double check connection for J1. J2 is definitely wrong. page 12 of the user manual for your case  show that it is it own controller and its power from the psu and has it's own switch.

please confirm.
