hello all.

I case swapped my pc recently and have started noticing scratching and grinding noises coming from my hdd (wd blue 1tb)

is my drive dying or are these noises normal?

Yeah, I hear that too, but I dont use my HDD that much.
Just for backups and long term data storage.
But even with my noise damped case, that and my GPU fans under heavy load are the only things, I can hear.
I was thinking about replacing it with a SSD, but 4 TB SSD storage would be too expensive 😄
