Boot time is not satisfying with samsung 980 pro

Hi there I have a custom build pc with windows 10 in it
Before this pc I was using a msi notebook which had sata ssd in it and it was booting around 9 seconds
After that I build up this pc and put a Samsung 980 Pro 1TB ssd in it to boot up faster but it generally boot in 17.7 seconds
This seems so slow to me
is it possible that maybe I did something wrong while installing windows or with my bios settings
I would like my pc to boot faster

Make sure SSD that has operating system on it is the 1st option to boot from in BIOS.

Disable some startup programs and services.

The more peripherals you connect, the longer it will take to boot.

This is the biggest thing that i don't think people really know about or even consider.

Also boot time isn't really something that you should care about, gone are the days of 2 minute boot times.

Or you could just enable fast boot, but that can come with it's own issues.

it is already selected as the first boot device and nothing else selected
I did unplug literally everything including mouse keyboard aux 2nd monitor only thing plugged was my main monitor I did also disabled every startup program from task manager
that did made the difference of 2 seconds (17.7>15.7)
But this is not close to what I want

i bet the fastboot setting is the difference. The 980 pro is not a slow drive.

of course you are right boot time isn't important
pc performs really well and I am happy with it
but I would like to know why it is this slow to boot with 980 Pro

Also if did you mean fast startup in power options as fast boot it is already on

boot again with fast boot on. The first boot is a virgin boot. The second boot learns from the virgin boot.

you should have fast boot if you have a modern computer. I just checked and i have the same model SSD as you. My boot is fast but i cant tell because my monitor takes about 20 seconds to select the correct input and turn on.

Well i get around same boot time with 970 evo plus . Previously it was around 22 seconds with regular Sata SSD. So i guess 18 seconds is plenty fast , maybe even some sort of hard limit for windows itself?

In any case my PC usually boots faster than my monitor even picks up the right signal anyway.
