hey guys im having problems with my ram i have run user benchmark and i get bad ram performance. can anyone help me?

this is my run of user benchmark https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/45780324

i get multicore write of only 25gb/s and single core 24.7gb/s write latency is yellow too and idk i can see most of ddr4 is yellow.

i can comfirm that cpu is runing at 120w boost power and xmp is enabled.

when compared to simmilar 3200mhz ram i should get double the write speed.

comparing bench of somebody else https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/17295286

your cas latencies are high. 18-20-20-38. Usually you want 18-18-18-38.

Also userbullshit is terrible dont use it.

AFAIK userbenchmark just looks at speeds and not cas latencies for compairson, so you could pe looking at your memory perf vs  bunch of people running 3200mhz cl 12-12-12-28 manually tuned subtimings or something eaqully absurd

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

how do i tune my memory? is there a good tools to use for stable performance? do i just set it to 18-18-18-38.

Go into the bios and manually tune the memory. But intel b series is weird now si I dont know if you can onb

As long as you don't have subjective performance issues, measurements are of no value. And Userbenchmark is especially garbage. Forget that website, it has nothing to offer.

i have game named rust not utilising all the pc muscule it can. i have made a video of it with timestamps. note that gpu usage is higher when recording with software. the game never utilise neither cpu nor gpu to maximum usually 40% gpu and 30%cpu. ram up to 80% so im looking for a cause of this. i have seen people play of different hardware and gpu gets full utilisation. maybe my ram is the problem or maybe not

I don't know exactly when Intel relaxed but B560 allows memory overclocking, doesn't have to be Z chipset. I don't know if it applies to others like H.

Is there an option in bios to turn on XMP? If so, use it. It'll set the system to run the ram at its rated speed and timings.

Given the fact that the RAM only allows for JEDEC 2666MHz and it's running at 3200MHz tells me that XMP is already enabled, it's just that the RAM probably isn't the best and thus has higher timings. What I find to be odd, though, is the fact that it's running at 3200CL18 even though the RAM apparently has a 3200CL16 XMP profile.

those latencies etc is way beyond the knowledge about pcs to me i dont understand it what so ever lol. is it possible i can send you the bios setting and you just tell me what to set it to?

Hmm... from the screenshot the mobo detects the XMP profile is CL16 yet 18 is set??? Try turning off XMP then turn it on again and see if it picks up different values. I'm just wondering why it is showing 18 for CL where the other values are Auto, but that could be a quirk of the bios. You can also try manually forcing CL16.

If you feel brave, you can try turning Gear2 to Gear1. This can improve performance, but you should check for stability if you set it. Rocket Lake that is not i9 officially supports 3200 in Gear 2 only.

Check out a ram OC guide for ASRock BIOS, you can find the settings. H570 does allow ram OC unlike H470 so you have the option.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B
