5600x or 3700x?

I was about to upgrade to 5600x and noticed the 3700x is 260$ vs 280$ for the 5600x

Which one should i get?

5600X. It’s a little beast.

If your workloads can take advantage of the 2 extra cores (rendering, code compile, streaming w/CPU encoding, etc) the 3700X makes sense, as when fully utilized, it's a bit faster than the 5600X.

 

If you're gaming, the 5600X is faster across the board and basically always will be, because unless a game can fully utilize both CPUs, which is unlikely, the 5600X with its better cache layout and single core performance will win.

What budget cooler do you recommend for that? Someone else suggested me the Fuma2 or gamamx

If you want to OC, the Fuma 2 would be a great choice. I use it with a 5900x and it's been solid.
