So I've been using this laptop for about 2 years, its a Lenovo Ideapad 320-15ISK

Specs are -

i7 8550u

2x4gb 2400mhz

Intel UHD 620

AMD Radeon 530

1TB 3200rpm HDD

This problem began to occur recently (maybe a month ago) where the dGPU's usage would be extremely low and the usage of the iGPU would fluctuate in game.

I tried reintalling drivers, using OEM drivers, reset my computer and still the problem persists.

The main games I play are CS:GO, Valorant and Genshin Impact.

The problem isn't there when im plugged into a monitor.

I feel like its an optimus problem but I also disabled switchable graphics in the AMD control center. Is it a hardware issue? I'm really confused about this so any help would be appreciated. thanks

SOPwith laptops is make sure the cooling is ok. Could be full of crud.  A good blow out could work wonders.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
