You will need to reinstall in most cases, there are some notable exceptions like steam.

Also what’s a good ssd to get that I can keep multiple copies of Grand Theft Auto 5 that good on storage cause I think 95-100 gb probably 3-4 copies

I would recommend a 1tb Samsung Evo drive they have been amazing for me very fast and I'm not gonna ask why you need that many copies of gta v

Im looking into getting a 3tb ssd and partitioning it to 6 drives in total 2140 mb or tb and buying a 100 gb ssd for just windows. If I go that route when I reinstall windows on the 100 gb ssd would it mess with the partition on the 3tb drive. Or should it be fine unless I format all of those drives cause when I reinstall windows I tend to format and delete that drive but I only had one drive back than know I would have 2 technical 8

It won't touch the data on the other drives, but if that data was installed programs they'll likely need to be reinstalled to work anyway.

Making lots of partitions off a single drive to store data is rarely a good idea. What do you hope to gain from this?
