Razer Blade 15 Base 2020 (RZ09-0328) Thunderbolt 3 Issues

I am having issues with my Thunderbolt 3 port on my Razer Blade 15 Base 2020 (RZ09-0328). I am trying to use the Thunderbolt 3 port to power a 240 Hz display with a USB-C to DP 1.4 cable (specifically this one). However, I don't seem to be getting a signal to my monitor. I understand that the cable requires DP Alt Mode, however I thought that a requirement of a port being labelled Thunderbolt 3 is that it must support DisplayPort devices (at least according to the FAQ on the Thunderbolt website). Is there something I am missing here? Or any workarounds for my issue? I am able to connect to my display using the HDMI output on the computer, but it only supports 144 Hz signal. I'd like to take full advantage of my monitor if possible!

I had the same issue. Ensuring you have the proper cable and the thunder bolt software from intel is installed. The most common failures are those two things.
