Hi I'm building my first PC for mostly 1440p gaming and school work, I have listed the parts I have purchased and the ones I have yet to purchase below. My budget is 1800$ USD.

I'm looking for any tips or recommendations for the build. Do you guys recommend I make any changes or am I good?聽And, yes I do realize the H150i aio is overkill for the 5600x, but I'm doing it for the extra 4000 fps I will get from the RGB lmao. Thank you, hope I can get some feedback 馃憤

Replaced the 5600X for the 3700X. Higher core and thread count will be beneficial for gaming & streaming, as well as other productivity tasks.

I would've liked to have been able to add more storage for you, but that kind of can't happen now. 馃槙

the 5600X is faster for games.

For strictly gaming, yes.

Unless his schoolwork includes really demanding workstation/productivity stuff then the 5600X is the better choice hands down. It even beats the 3700X in some workstation tasks just by virtue of being faster.聽

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.聽 If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

This was all i can do

Upgraded to 5800x

Ditched aio for dual tower air cooler and b550 tomahawk to b550a pro as i dont think op is gonna overclock

Ram is horribly overpriced but cant do anything about it

Case choice is eh, p400a would prob have been a better option

Psu is eh cause its still a 750w whilst an msi mpg 850w is like 10$ cheaper

Well atleast you didnt overpay for windows and didnt chose horribly overpriced fans (looking at you corsair ll fans)

Lmao yeah the ram is overpriced, but I wanted to the g skill royal ram over the trident z ram cause I like the silver finish better on royal sticks and this particular set was on sale at the time. All the purchases have tax already included so I don't know about being able to get an 850w PSU for only 10$ cheaper and isn't a 750w PSU suitable for a 3070? thanks for the feedback聽
