Wireless Wi-Fi antenna

Everything else is working the screen turns on and everything but my Wi-Fi does it not work I put the antenna in my motherboard because it has integrated Wi-Fi but it’s not working how do you fix it

Update drivers from your mobo manufacturer.  Maybe update bios if that doesn't work.

I downloaded windows everything works except for Wi-Fi I was wondering how the antenna of work

Alright, no problem. Can you provide your system specs? A list of the parts in this computer.

 

Wifi isn't a universal entity, there are many implementation depending on specifically what you bought. This is going to go for any time you have a problem and need help on this forum. I would read through this.

Ok, so that motherboard has an Intel AX200 wifi chip. Do you know if your Wifi network adapter shows up in Device Manager? I have mine disabled but this is what it should look like when you open Device Manager and expand the Network Adapters section. You can open Device Manager by hitting the Windows key on your keyboard and typing "Device Manager". Better yet, can you take a picture, either a screeenshot or with your phone of what this screen looks like?

 

The drivers are here if you just want to do that but giving me that information above can tell us a lot more about what's going on.

yes I installed them and I tried to connect to wifi but it says that it can't

"it says it can't connect" is unfortunately not descriptive enough. What says this? Where? What are you clicking on when you see this? Can you get a picture? Post a video?

Is this network protected by a password? Are you entering the correct password? 

 

Can you turn wifi on then off again and try again? 

 

Can you Forget that network then try again? (select Manage known networks, select it and hit Forget. See attached image)

 

If all this still doesn't work, try the latest Wifi driver in this link and repeat trying to connect: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19351/windows-10-wi-fi-drivers-for-intel-wireless-adapters.html
