Intel Arc - discrete GPUs get a name and date - TSMC confirmed!

porina

Intel has revealed the first product will be made on TSMC N6 process. Rather than starting a new thread I've edited info into the OP.

A very vague performance estimate could put the top model around a 3060 Ti, but I'd give tolerance at least a step either side of that.

I can't wait for people to get the ARC cards and especially see how good XeSS is compared to FSR and DLSS. I honestly don't even mind if Intel only has a mid range RTX 3060Ti performance class card. AMD had Polaris for a while as only thing and it was pretty cool and widely used card. And they didn't have this Ai fakery thing to boost its performance. Can't wait to see it. Bring it Intel.

Hopefully we can start battling processing methods and finding one that gives a lot of perfomance to everyone for less work.

So long not every game has to deal with adding 3 different methods or conflicts it might have, adding more crunch if its a lot of work to add.
