Do you want to wait? The 7 doesn't come out for a good amount of time.

The 7A also has better color reproduction imo. More of a warm tone compared to a very cool tone on the QHD display.

I wish the 7A came with a 32gb model. I'd seriously consider it, but with only 16gb? Yeah, not as stoked.

Have you considered the OnePlus One at all?

Knowing Oppo, both versions of the Find 7 will be great. As for the QHD version, wait for somebody to test the battery life on it. Usually a 3,000mAh battery would last a long time (I know this because my G2 has that large of a battery) but that's on a 1080p screen, not a 1440p screen. We shall see.

There's no images or anything of the phone yet, just confirmed specs. It's being revealed in 2 weeks.

It'll have a Snapdragon 801, 16gb and 64gb options, advanced 5.5" 1080p screen, stereo speakers, 3100+ mah battery, swappable back covers (bamboo, silk, soapstone, denim, kevlar, a couple others), LTE, 13mp Sony Exmor camera.

It'll also run on a custom version of Cyanogenmod and is supposed to have stupid thin bezels.

Best of all, pricing starts at $349.

The 801 sips the battery, so it shouldn't be bad.

Battery life isn't that bad going from 720p to 1080p, and the jump from 1080p to 1440p is even smaller.

True true, but this is the first 1440p phone out there right now. What you said is true, but some benchmarks never hurt.

Yea tests are never bad but I think it's going to be more than fine.

HTC is claiming a 40% improvement in battery life. A little of that will be the extra 200mah, but considering they increased the screen size that's mighty impressive. Shows what a beast the 801 is.

I'm really interested to see how it performs with a 3100+ mah battery, and the other technologies employed by the OnePlus One's screen.
