So i have 8gb of ram and when i Play AAA Games that demand a lot, i stutter a lot and now i ordered 16gb of ram and i wonder if its gonna help me when i say aaa games i talk about need for speed heat warzone fh3 fh4 like realistic games somehow my gta runs good without lagging but the other games lag and i dont think its my cpu/gpu because my friend has a pc that is less better than mine and he runs games without stuttering and he has 16gb of ram his cpu/gpu is: i7 8700K And a GTX 1050 im saying that he has a worst pc than me bc i have a graphic card that is a lot better than his and his cpu is slightly better than mine bc of the threads. my config is i5 9400F and a GTX 1650 But with 8gb ram and i forgot to mention i have an ssd plus an hdd and he dosent have an ssd and we also have the same prebuilt pc with the same motherboard the same rams (b4 he changed them) the same psu the same hdd he just dosent have an ssd and same ram. so can someone tell me if changing my rams is going to fix my freezing and stutter. tell me what you think 😀

Whooo whooo whoo slow down there...Punctuation!!!

What are your memory utilizations like while gaming? Warzone is pretty poorly optimized so expect it to not run well on a system like yours.

Sounds like you're always running out of RAM and the stuttering are symptoms of it, especially if the system slows down too.

Yeah so u think if id get 16gb it would improve?

For sure it would help improve your current situation. Have you tried to close down other background processes that are hogging/consuming a lot of RAM?

i guess 8gb is the MINIMUM rn to play like i think what they mean by minimum is actually like the minimum to start the game / play the game with stutters and shit like that but for a optimal gameplay they recommend 16gb

I'd say the minimum for a gaming rig would be 16GB. 8GB is more suitable for an office machine or one that you just use for Internet browsing.

I know that you were talking about the minimum requirements for the game. You should still upgrade your RAM to a 16GB kit of 2x8GB.

now i ordered 16gb of ram

If you're already ordered it, try it and find out. No point in just talking about it.

Main: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti, 16 GB 4400 MHz DDR4 Linux - Fedora
