3070 vs 3070ti

I was going to buy a 3070 but Im not sure if I should go with the regular 3070 or if I should spend an extra hundred dollars on a 3070 ti. I also dont know if a 3060 or a 3060ti are better value cards. Someone please help

3070 Ti isn't worth it over a 3070. Just get whichever is cheaper/available. A 3060 Ti, if you can get it anywhere near some semblance of "MSRP" is pretty much the best performance per dollar card in Nvidia's lineup. A 3070 is still appreciably better, though, at least in raw performance.

This does depend on what resolution and everything you're going to be playing at. If you're playing at 1080p, the 3060 or 3060 Ti should be where you're looking. If you're playing at 1440p, the 3060 Ti or 3070 should be your focus while maybe thinking of the 3070 Ti. 4k, I'd go for the 3070 Ti or 3080 if you can score a FE card somehow.

Given the prices of the 3060/3070 right now, are they really worth that much more than a 1080 Ti? 

 

I'm seeing 3060's running for ~$800 on ebay, while 1080 Ti's seem to be more in the $600 range. 

 

2080 Supers seem to be in the $700-$800 range.
