Thanks for the help! Based on your advice, I ended up going with this: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/StarkOdinson/saved/LkmshM. I will admit, the motherboard is a tad expensive, but it's the only thing that had a non-anaemic selection of IO (I'd appreciate other recommendations though). I might also consider getting the 5800X off of Ebay, but I'm not sure if I'll go that route or pick it up from Microcenter.

Only thing id change is the cooler

A decent dual tower like the phantom or fuma 2 qill be cheaper than a u12s

Or if you want a really good single tower go for an arctic freezer 34 esports duo

Budget (including currency):

Country:

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Budget (including currency): $2000USD for PC and a 1440p IPS 144Hz monitor (comes to $300ish, so $1700 for the build)

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft, streaming, Doom Eternal, Overwatch, Cyberpunk 2077, Unity, Blender, UE4, VSCode, Visual Studio

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://pcpartpicker.com/user/StarkOdinson/saved/GTgfyc that is my parts list as of now, and I have someone selling an RTX 3080 for $800

You can get the R7 5800x for $300 on ebay. I just added to the list to make it look complete. The total cost is under $2,000. If I were you, I'll buy a better PSU, the Corsair RMx (2021) for $135.

The Seasonic Focus is a good PSU, Seasonic makes outstanding PSU's. Fully modular, gold rated, 10 year warranty, what is not to like?  I would never prefer Corsair over Seasonic.

8.5/10

Solid build

No overspending on board

No overspending on ram

No overspending on asthetics

Though

10850k is only good when you overclock it and that aio suggests otherwise, so id suggest getting a 5800x instead as you can just turn on pbo and itll auto oc itself and has better single core

The aio is uneccesary, though the liquid freezer series is pretty good, id suggest going for a phantom or fuma 2 cooler instead

No. Seasonic Focus model are not outstanding. There are better option for that price point, EVGA. Tomhardware did a review on the Focus model and it doesn't hold as you think it does. There's a reason why it's only worth $115. The Prime model holds up and keeps to the Seasonic name, but Focus is lackluster. You would go Seasonic over Corsair RMx? Lol. K, be my guest. Corsair RMx is top tier PSU. For $20 more, you're investing in a top tier PSU that will last you for future builds. Seasonic Focus + is not on par with the RMx model.

How about tripping issues ? The 'FX' had/has issues with transient spikes. So unless we know the manufacture date then it is best left alone. The newer models like the GX/GM/PX are supposedly ok.

Yes, we all love PSUS with tripping issues and cheap fans. Not to mention they can be overpriced as hell.

They CAN make good units, it's just that you are basically saying that "If seasonic makes it, it's a GREAT power supply!!!"

I would rather go with this CPU - better single core performance.

But the rest of the build looks great!
