Windows cannot be installed on my SSD because it has a MBR pt.

Go to solution Solved by Farden,

Press shift + F10
Type Diskpart (hit enter)

Follow this:

(If the disk does not contain any partitions or volumes, skip to step 4)

  1.  type list disk. Note the disk number you want to convert.

  2.  type select disk <disknumber>.

  3. type clean.

  4.  type convert gpt.

How do I convert it to a GPT disk? I don't care if it erases all data because I formatted the drive anyway.

Sorry I only just saw your  reply, it's probably too late now but have you checked the syntax?

This is what it looks like on my work laptop (can't do the other steps otherwise I'll have Surface 4 shaped brick 😄

image.png.69675126fa32278c6e6c05aa6ca4d6a8.png

[EDIT] Going by your photo you will see more than just the one disk marked as 0 - take care to make sure you select the correct disk! My advice would be to unplug any data drives just to avoid any mishaps, you should then only see the disk you want to convert, plus the USB stick.
