No such thing as cheap but good.  108 > 54W.  They don't know what they're doing.

You melt connectors.

Guys,

I hooked up the controller with now 4 fans each drawing around 7 W of power.

Controller get power over sata connector.

How many addtional fans can I hook up?

Controller has 9 fan ports.

Can I hook up all 9 fans?

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

IIRC SATA HDDs can consume up to 25w. Doing the math according to that might be the safest option.

SATA HDD?

I didn't connect HDD,mate.

4x7W=28W>25 W,so I believe it's way more then 25 W.

Lol. I know you didnt. Math is simple, if a SATA connector can handle a 25W HDD, it can handle 25W of fans. All you gotta do is combine the maximum wattage of your fans and (if you want to be on the safe side) make sure its less than 25W so that you can connect all your fans to a single SATA power connector.

R u sure it's 25 W power limit?

Hmm then why would they design controller with 9 connectors for fans...

SATA Connector according to ATX standards are rated for 54w. Not all power supplies are made to fit ATX standards despite being called ATX power supplies. 9 fans and 54w is A LOT, fans are usually 3-4W each if you arent running delta fans (which can use around 50w per fan). Anyways I got nothing further to add to this topic.

Hmmm so is it 25 W or 54 W?

Depends on the PSU.

Stick with 54W.

I would NOT run 9 fans off of it.  Whoever designed that fan controller is bad at math.

Okay.then I can add 4 more fans but theat would be 56 W>54 W.

What would happen if I hook up 4 more fans and exceed power limit?

Don't blame them.

I congratulated them on getting cheap but good RGB fans and I bought 6 of them for a price of one Corsair QL/ML rgb fan or TT Riiing trio.

But as you said,I know most of the controllers come with 4-6 fan slots max.

Because most people understand Ohm's law.

Yes but nowhere is written that I will connect all 9 fans 😄

That is optional..
Personally you know I'm a fan of an RGB and I don't buy fans based on specs, and it's from company probably most of people never heard about it.

I remember about them long time ago selling hmm average PSUs and trust me they still work in 2 of my retro PCs.
But I appreciate the help very much indeed Sir,when it's from you,it's such an honor.
Don't mind my sarcasm.
