Is a Intel core I7 3770 and Asus GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB and Crucial RAM 8GB DDR4 3200 MHz a decent gaming set up

Is it good depends on the context. Do you already own this? The platform the 3770 is on doesn't support DDR4

A 3770 and 1050 ti will do fine for low-intensity esports games like Rocket League, Valorant, etc. Will struggle with modern AAA titles, I wouldn't expect anything more than 60fps low/medium settings at 1080p. 

 

As Slottr said, if you are looking at buying these parts to build a system now, DDR4 RAM isn't compatible with the platforms the 3770 runs on. You would need the older DDR3 memory. 

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
