hi, I'm building new computer and have pretty much sorted what parts I want, but before I buy it I just wanted to ask for any suggestions or notes for this build, because there is a chance that there might be some issue with it that I overlooked. My budget is about 35 000kč which is around 1600usd, and that is excluding gpu which I already have (so the budget is for everything else)

case: MSI MPG GUNGNIR 110R

MB: MSI MAG B550 tomahawk

CPU: AMD ryzen 5600X

GPU: RTX 2080 TI

power supply: Seasonic Focus GX 850 Gold

RAM: HyperX 32GB KIT DDR4 3600MHz (4 sticks)

storage: M.2 Samsung 980 1TB (2x)

cpu cooling: ASUS ROG STRIX LC 240 (radiator on top of the case)

thanks guys any suggestions welcome

The case doesnt have much airflow, and the 5600x doesnt need water cooling, a air cooler will be enough.

Samsung drives are pretty sweet but you could go with something like cheaper Crucial SN550 M.2 drives and put the money into something else?

As the other poster said, I would avoid watercooling unless that's what you really want. A Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black, while big and bulky, will give cheaper watercooling loops a run for their money. If you really want watercooling for the look or whatever then go for it.

You could also get away with 2 x 8Gb sticks of RAM and leave yourself room to upgrade to 32Gb later and save the money for something else. If you're just gaming, most games won't benefit from 32Gb of RAM. Just another way of saving a little money if you want.

It's a pretty solid build and if you're happy with the cost then that's all that really matters, otherwise you could make those changes and save some money without losing any performance.

Just keep in mind that you may need to flash the BIOS on that board to be compatible with the 5600X. That board has a BIOS Flashback button so you just need a USB stick with the correct BIOS on it.

I know most people consider Samsung as a "premium" drive, but the 980 (non-pro) is actually a budget NVME without dram. You can actually get much better drives at the same price. Some examples:

Kingston A2000

Western Digital SN750

Mushkin Pilot-E

or you could go with 980 pro for a good gen 4 NVME
