My monitor disconnects when I alt-tab while playing Call of Duty Warzone

Hi, I just bought a new laptop, its the omen 15 with a ryzen 5 4600h and a gtx 1660ti. I have an LG 144hz monitor (24GL600F) I use a HDMI 2.0 cable to connect them. While playing warzone when I alt-tab the game, the monitor just disconnects and i have to unplug and plug the hdmi cable back in for it to detect the laptop. I also use the monitor to get through optimus because my laptop does not have a MUX switch, please help me thank you.
