Game Pass games not updating? (Xbox app/Windows Store)

So I've been having an issue where after I initially download a game, it will not recieve updates. Then after it becomes to out of date online features like multiplayer etc. no longer work.

To get the updated game files I have to uninstall the games and reinstall them again, after which the problem continues. 

Has anyone else had this issue or know what could be causing this? 

I only did a fresh install of w10 2/3 weeks ago too and I happened before that also.

Do you run a pihole or any sort of network filtering?

I have some xbox live ports forwarded but that was set up after the problem manifested.

I'd put in a bug report with them.

Yeah I might have to go that route tbh. I did come across that thread before but it didn't seem to help.
