You will no doubt be getting more fps on the 780 sli rig. I would say get that. Ask @Lays what type of performance he gets if you want.

How much more fps do you think I'd gain with the second one on BF4 with ultra settings and 1080p?

Since @tryphaa told me to come here, I shall participate.

How much more fps do you think I'd gain with the second one on BF4 with ultra settings and 1080p?

Expect ~120-160 in 99% of scenes.

I get ~80-160 at 1440p (80 being the absolute worst)

If you plan on ever upgrading from 1080p to 1440p, the good news is with 780 SLI you'll be set for a very very long time.

And to the people saying go with a 750watt for your 780 SLI option, stick with a 850 + incase you ever decide to watercool down the road, you can OC the tar out of the 780's.

You might want to think about getting 16 GB of RAM to keep everything even, just a thought.

I'd go with this.

Honestly, there isn't much point in going with SLI 780's unless you're going to run a 1440p monitor.

The 780Ti would be a better bet.

I think I'm going to stay with the GTX 780 Ti, as I plan to add sli to that in the future.

I'd personally say the second one... although I'd stick an AIO cooler in there. Maybe overclock it a touch too.

Decide rather or not you need the CPU power of the i7. if your not rendering or anything the 8 virtual cores arent really necessary. However, you could later on double up on the 780TI's in a couple years if 1 TI isnt enough. (which it probably will be). I say the 2nd one for heavier cpu as well as gameplay. and the 1st build just for gameplay.

Why you not going Haswell or waiting out for the new chips?
