Evga 3070 ti block compalibilty

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of yall know if my Evga 3070 ti xc3 would be compatible with the ek block for a regular 3070?

In theory it should be? I don't see why EVGA would change the PCB layout for the card, especially since the only real difference is a different type of memory chips. If you want to confirm, you can always contact EVGA customer support and ask if the PCB layout changed (their technicians are great and can probably find that information for you)

I was thinking it should be too. Thanks for the tip of actually calling evga and asking them.  No sarcasm, I actually hadn't thought of that. I'll let yall know what I find out just in case anyone else cares. Thanks again.

Did the memory chips change thickness? If so it could well be a “no” though if the got thinner (as things often do) a thermal pad could possibly make up the difference.
