So, I finally got my Sapphire R9 270 and had a friend install everything (because I got a new psu for it and I'm bad when it comes to being tidy)

 

Now what do I do? He installed drivers and stuff so I THINK everything is fine (gpu works nice)

 

Is there anything I should test to make sure the card is working perfectly?

 

I installed gpu-Z and idle temperatures are around 29-32C and while on load 

 

Do these numbers look okay? (Left - idle; right- crysis 2)

 

 

(yes I forgot you could just screenshot a window instead of cropping with puush)

You could go up to 70C-80C

try running a benchmark, that card can easily push to around 75C

make a custom fan curve for the GPU. to avoid any overheat without worrying.

important, do "not do" the Furmark test (any that recommend that is nuts)  <_<

 

Furmark is a overstress test that like damage cards (skip it)

ahha i would not worry about temps unless your overclocking unless you have a really cramped case and also have poor airflow. But it doesnt seem you have that issue. temps  look fine
