Using Windows 10 on a Macbook.

I have an SATA hard drive from a Laptop running Windows 10 on it. I ran that hard drive using a USB 3.0 port on my 13-inch Macbook air(2017) and found that there are issues in doing so. viz.
-Not able to use macbook trackpad trackpad except to move cursor and Left click.(Not even able to scroll and right click)

-Not able to use Wi-Fi. 

-No Keyboard Backlit.

Should I install drivers to make the above stuff function properly ?

Yes? That's what drivers are for. Those devices don't typically work properly in Windows without installing the Boot Camp drivers. You'd honestly be better off just installing Windows directly on your MacBook as it has an SSD.

thats up to you if you want to do that or can live without them

You need the drivers for it which are included in bootcamp. It also makes swapping OSes easier in the boot menu

Drivers are what makes the hardware interface properly with the software or OS, so yes if you want that to work you need the drivers.
