Short question about which motherboard to get

Short question here, have an R5 5600X, looking for a B550 motherboard (no need for X570 here, might as well save some cash). I've looked through the motherboard tier list, and I've narrowed down my choices to either the Asus B550-F or Aorus Pro. Have a budget of $190, what's the best board I can get feature wise (convenience, performance, etc.)? Can suggest other boards as well.

btw what's the difference between Aorus Pro, Pro V2, Pro AC and Pro AX? Just curious

Still nave never seen the descriptor “best” being useful.  B550 will have enough VRM to make short work of a 5600 so that is not an issue.  The question after that is ports AMD build quality.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

If you want the usb type c front connector get ethier pro AX or Pro v2

The difference is AX have integrated wifi and the V2 doesn't (if that usb c matter to you)

Ethier way all of them is nonetheless same...

Ethier the rog or gigabyte is fine really,

If you want to cut the cost a little bit more and no problems with other brand the b550 tomahawk is cheaper (on discount)

Why don't you want a x570?

Because they're much more expensive, and I don't have any need for the features they provide? I don't need 8 SATA ports, I don't need PCIe gen 4, what kind of question is this?

Unfortunately I have very bad experience with MSI's RMA and customer service. Absolutely horrrendous, I would not want to risk getting another dead board and having to deal with MSI again.

I will definitely take that into consideration, thank you very much. For now I will just head down to the store and see which of the two is cheaper haha.

More of an I don’t know which is “best” for you because I don’t know what ports you need.  Bothe boards are safe for a cpu that small though so it all on you and what you want to do.
