Looks ok for a minecraft server. One thing i would do tho is go up a notch on the motherboards chipset, to like a b350 or b450 as most a320 boards will need a bios update to support the 3rd gen ryzen. While some a320 boards do come updated from the factory, i wouldnt really take a chance at it, + the b450 boards got more features and generally better, especially at the power delivery for the CPU which WILL be better for a stable experience without random crashes.

Other than that, i doubt there will be any performance issues.

I once ran a minecraft server for ~7 players on my old 2200g and 8GB of ram and it ran great.

Dont bother with an apu they are overprriced now

Just go on ebay and buy a hd6350 for 5-10$ and stick that in your server cause you dont need any gpu horsepower for an mc server

And swap the 3200g for a 3300x or 3100 and the board for a b450 so you can overclock it for max performance

How much are you spending/budgeting on this compared to how long it will actually be usable by you and your friends compared to renting a server from somewhere with good specs for a year?

Since it is a minecraft server, I assume you will not be using it as a daily driver PC, in which case I would advise to just buy a used server. more reliable, much more performance and cheaper too

Get something with a 6/8 core xeon or 2x 4 core xeons

this is a 12 core one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/273882235613?

What do you mean?

How long do you realistically expect the server to stay up and operational?

IE: Do you want to keep it going for many years 24/7 or for a few months?

there are several great server hosts out there based all over the world that you can get servers from for somewhere between $50 and $100 for 6 months of operation at a time. ServerMiner is one I've used that's been great but there are others out there too, you get 24/7 operation, don't have to worry about the electricity costs, and can pay per month or in chunks of 3/6/12 months and get a refund if you need to shut the server down early too or you can scale the server up/down as needed depending on the load/mods/etc.
