Does it matter which way a Liquid freezer II is installed?

My MOBO is a Dark Hero with a 5950x.

Btw My MOBO is supposed to be mounted sideways as in the pics.

The point of that small fan near the AIO pump is to cool the motherboard VRM so you would prefferably want to keep it near the motherboard VRM and not near the PCIe slots.

But that motherboard does not really need that coolin and if you're going to unplug that fan anyways... it does not really matter.
