Yep,a first gen Ryzen for that price is not good,

The 1600 AF (12nm) is better.

Really?,This GPU is cheap crap, the wordt of the worst, bottom of the barrel.

You will have bad experience with that GPU.

Budget (including currency): Under $1,000

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Roblox, Core, Editing

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I dont really care.

Hey! My name is Noah and I am new to pc building I used pcpartbuilder to choose my parts and I want a opinion from a pro at pc building.

Is this good enough parts? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fQFYxc

that cpu is bad for new pcs try the risen 5 3600 you can find new ones for like 190 without the fan on ailexpress. that gpu is also realy bad try going on the used market like craglist or kijjij (thats canadian) you can probly find something way better than that for the same price, that case is quite bad (no air flow from the front) also up your psu wattage to somthing at least 550, 600

Thats pretty garbage tbh

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/LPX3xc

Had a random list laying around so i just swapped the cpu

Just use the igpu for the time being, the igpu will prob perform the same as that gt730, and you can also overclock the igpu via intel xtu or the bios if you feel like the igpu is abit slow

11700k cause it has a decent igpu and is an 8 core, just oc the igpu if needed

Z590 if you ever wish to oc or tweak the cpu

Cheaped out on everything else

Hi and welcome to the forum,

Im a little confused with the budget - you stated $1,000 but specced out a $650 comp. If youre not super concerned with high end gaming and going for a $650 build I'd agree that an APU build might be the best for your budget and use. APUs combine a processor and a graphics card into one chip and they can be quite respectable for low end gaming. If I were you I would wait until August 5th when the new Ryzen 5000 series APU's come out, then post on here asking for help. Youll have people falling over each other trying to help you build one

good luck

the r5 3600 is way better than the i7 for price to preformance ratio so i still stand on him buying it besides he can upgrade to r5 5---- without much loss of money since the 3600 keeps its value and he only needs to upgrade his cpu not mobo (oh right i recomend him buying a mobo thats better quailty then what he oringanly put)

Lmfao the 3600 is decent but itll get crushed by a 10th gen i5, if you really wanna go ryzen go 5600x, one of the best cpus for pure gaming use, that thing will beat the 11700k in single core for sure
