Do I need a new psu?

Should I upgrade to another psu? I have a superflower leadex gold II 650w with a pc 9600k + rtx 3070. 

Do I need a bigger wattage psu? Is my psu a quality unit? 

I bought it new for about 2 years now, works great but thinking it might be old, is 2 years a good age for psus?

Big maybe here.

 

It can work as that is a really nice psu BUT it might not handle the power spikes of the 3070 well. So best you can do is just try it out and see.

650w not enough for 3070? So for 3090 I recon it is not enough 1000w?

Should be fine, in any case you already have this system, right ? Does it work without shutdowns ? If so - keep it.

You already have it.  It either works or it doesn't.  Run Furmark (1080p, 2x MSAA) and Prime95 (all cores w/ small FFT's) at the same time.  Does it shut down? No?  Then you're fine.  It's not like you have a Seasonic or something.

OP's PSU is a Super Flower, not a Corsair.

 

Seasonic PSUs have issues with some Ampere cards.  Thus my comment.
