Windows XP reached end of life on April 8, 2014, so you'll be hard pressed to find many software developers supporting the OS anymore. You may still be able to manually configure an IKEv2 client to use a Windscribe Pro subscription if you can find an IKEv2 client that works on Windows XP though.

You will be better off accessing internet through virtual machine. Many websites might just not work with old web browsers available on XP anyway.

cause Windscribe has a legacy version available to download, but when i run it in windows xp it just errors out

Are they missing .dll file errors or what? You might still get the version you have working, but it can take time, and time ain't cheap.

I just get an error saying that "this program does not support the version of windows you are running."
