FPS stuck at 15

Hi,these days i bought a new laptop,when i started to play i saw that all my games are stuck at 15fps,i have an i7-3630QM with 16gb of ram and an nvidia gtx 670mx as a graphics card,does someone know how to fix?

I somehow really need to doubt if that laptop is new and youre being fleeced, or you just impulse bought a cheap ""gaming laptop"" off used market. Anyway, spilled milk.

 

What game are you trying to run, specifically?

As @SorryClairealludes to, that is not a "new" laptop, it's a vintage 2012 laptop. So depending on the game 15fps wouldn't be at all surprising. Need more info on what you're trying to play.

That's not, that's a old laptop. (Made in like 2012).
What games, what res, what settings.

As said by the others, that is not a new laptop at all, the parts are coming on 10 years old now. You really won't be able to squeeze much performance out of that thing, especially in newer games.

 

There's also very little information to go off here, what game and what settings?

im trying to run fortnite,it does not  matter what graphics i am using i am still getting just 15 fps,and even if fortnite was a new game,in among us which has a very low system requirements i am still stuck at 15

yea,when i said new i wanted to say that i did not buy it like second hand or something i was not talking about the year it was released

Considering how fortnite barely runs on mid end gaming 2014 laptops with everything at a minimum, honestly not surprised. Again, youre fleeced.
