Hello,

I recently purchased à computer Lenovo Legion 5 but it started giving me weird crashes.

Everything freezes and goes black mostly on my browser, vlc, or even task manager (pic for example)

I don't know what causes it and have no idea how to fix it.

If anyone has an idea it would be greatly appreciated.

Best.

Seems to be something with the graphics It can be a bug within Windows or a problem with the laptop's gpu or iGPU.

If my answer is correct or is helpful please mark it as the solution. Quote me in your post to summon me. Beware that after summoning me ill never leave.

is there anything I should try to see it that's the problem?

Try booting Windows PE from a bootable stick, and see if the issue still persists. If it does it's probably something with your gpu or iGPU.

the thing is that it doesn't do it all the time, I might enjoy a couple of hour long session without any issue, and suddenly the black appears.

I'll try the W PE (do I find it on the windows website? )

Maybe time to track the temperature. Might be a temp issue.
