Requirements:

Fully modular

24pin not 20+4

80+ silver or better

I would like a white one but black is fine.

Able to sleeve the cables? (i guess thats a good req)

AX1200i has Corsair link, it's monitoring some voodoo stuff, I haven't really looked into what Link does.

Well...if you have a Corsair case, and you have Corsair Link, it gives this neat graph of all your fans in your case, and stuff, so it's pretty cool I guess. But then again, do YOU need it?

The ax1200i is a superior revision with platinum certification and DSP

Actually not anymore. The new AX series from Corsair are all platinum PSU's, the AXi series just have the DSP for the Corsair Link technology.

May I ask why you need a 1200w PSU?

Regardless I would look at the Silverstone Gold Evolution PSU's. Their cables are a bit easier to sleeve than the Corsair ones because the Corsair ones have some funky SATA cables. :)

I want to be able to carry the psu on from pc to pc and you never know how demanding things will get i also plan on getting 2 780s and a custom loop and maybe a sound card and set up raid. so thats why i want all the power. i would prefer UNLIMITED POWER
