Best CPU block for AM4?

I had Magnitude and that performed well for 10980XE.

 

I am thinking which CPU block should I choose for a smaller CPU such as 5950x?

 

Is Velocity from EK enough? Or is there something better?

Main PC:

CPU: Intel Core i9 14900KS SP 109 (125P-79E) (6.1Ghz P-Cores 4.8Ghz E-cores) MC SP 88

CPU Voltage: LLC6 1.43V

Cooled by: Supercool Direct Die 14th gen full nickel

Motherboard: Z790 ASUS Maximus Apex Encore

RAM: GSkill TridentZ 2x24GB DDR5 8800Mhz Watercooled

GPU: RTX 5090 Palit OC with Alphacool Core Waterblock

Case: TT P3

Storage: 4x 2TB Sarbent Rocket Plus Gen 4.0 NVMe, 1x External 2TB Seagate Barracuda (Backup)

PSU: Corsair AX1600i with custom black and red cables with 2x Corsair 5V+ Load Balancer

Display: Samsung Oddysey G9 57" 240Hz Ver. 7680x2160 and

1st Loop: 5x 480mm XE CoolStream radiators with 1x Revo D5 RGB pump and 1x Rajintek Antila D5 Evo RGB pump for GPU only cooling with 2x Koolance QDC3, red coolant

2nd Loop: 5x 480mm XE CoolStream radiators with 1x Revo D5 RGB pump and 1x Rajintek Antila D5 Evo RGB pump for CPU only cooling with 2x Koolance QDC3, purple coolant

3x 360mm PE EKWB CoolStream 

3rd Loop: 1x 240mm PXE CoolStream radiator with 1x EKWB Revo D5 pump (RAM ONLY) - Back of the case

The EK solutions suck for Zen 2/Zen 3.

Would recommend getting the backplate mounting hardware if it doesn't come with it already. All you have to do is throw Optimus and email.

Some do and some don't. It depends on when the block was produced. Mine didn't and I used the stock mounting which doesn't use the AM4 backplate at all. Instead it just mounts to your board which is a bit spooky imo. All the blocks produced now include screws to use the AM4 backplate.
