My brain does not work... Help?

My brain gets confused, THIS. As I understand if I mount it on my r9 270x, it doesen't need ramsinks? Does the backplate do it all? I thought ramsinks need to be ON the chip itself. Somebody please give relief to my poor brain

If I mount the backplate on the card, do i need ramsinks or not? ( Including the VRM sink things and stuff )

I am pretty sure it comes with heatsinks for your RAM yes. But its not worth buying for a 270x.

Actually no. I live in a dangerous neighborhood tho. I could go and ask somebody to reboot it for me.

I don't think it's worth it for a R9 270x but if you wanna go for it then go for it, should work just fine. :3

Sell the 270 you have and buy one with a better cooler.

 

I use the Sapphire Dual X and it is amazing. 60'C Max when gaming and at about 30% fan speed.

 

Please don't buy that very expensive huge heatsink for the little 270.

Thanks to everybody who replied to me. I have decided to stick with the card I got and pretty much just go with a bigger case with more air flow since this card dumps the hot air back into my case.
