i think you may have found out what's causing me the problem. the one in the middle is coming out of the one on the right do you see that?

@RTX 3071

Try running it with 3 separate cables and see if it changes anything.

It actually shouldn't be a problem because each cable is 150W I think and you also have 75W of PCIe power.

Theoretically. The RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio is listed with a 340watt requirement according to MSIs website.

Techpowerup has measured a peak power draw of 385 watt (gaming) and a sustained power draw of 425 watt (furmark) of that same card. Which means two 8pins are not enough.

It's always the spikes or peaks you should worry about. That's why its recommended to not daisy chain your power cables on a GPU.

Are you playing on 1080p?

no 1440p i just got a new monitor

About 40 Watts missing from max. TDP, try increasing your settings. Looks like a bottleneck (Bottleneck with 5800x on 1440p might sound hilarious but your settings are probably low or something, maybe 3080 is much much more powerful than what I thought).

yes my settings were indeed on low. also im pretty sure my card is supposed to run at 340w

Watched it 5 times now I see nothing wrong with it. You get well above 200fps and no drops below that in the video so what exactly is your problem?

One thing if you play on low settings on a 3080 even at 1440p your framedrops are probably related to CPU rather than GPU. Also experiencing "stutters" in an online game don't necessarily mean its your PC as there are more factors (network latency, server usage,...) that play into it than in a singleplayer game.
