Should I buy RTX 3080 or GTX 1050ti Mini for my Motherboard

Yes, a GTX1050 will.  A GTX1050Ti will need to be verified if it needs a 6 pin or not, so buy one that doesn't need.

Does The ZOTAC GeForce 1050ti mini 4gb ddr5 need 6 pins?

If it does, I can buy a 6 pins power connector MOLEX cable and will the GPU accept my PSU that is 450 watts?

Or do I need the 750 watts PSU?

Hi! Can I install an RTX 3080 or GTX 1050ti mini 4gb ddr5 on GA-F2A58M-DS2?

Should I buy the GTX 1050ti mini?

Or the RTX 3080?

My Motherboard is GA-F2A58M-DS2. Do I need to update the BIOS?

Do I need a PSU that has an 4,6,8 pins for GPU?

I hope that a kind spirit will respond and answer my questions, Thank you!

I would recommend a 1050ti because the best processors on socket FM2+ wouldn’t really utilize much else too well.

You don’t need any kind of update for PCIe devices, the slot is backwards and forwards compatible, you could put a 7800 GTX in there or an rtx 3090 and it wouldn’t have any problems.

For a 1050ti your psu should be fine if it’s a 75 watt card, it’ll just take power from the slot. But some 1050ti’s will require a single 6 pin power connector, which you may need a different psu for if you don’t already have one.

Ahhhhhh, so I can either buy the RTX or GTX right? And if it needs extra pins power connector, I should buy a PSU with it?

You may want to check prices before you casually do a RTX or GTX either or.

If you WANT a 3080, grab the wallet and go.  But all you NEED is the 1050Ti.

Anything better than a 1070 is way overkill for even the best cpu that board can take, get a 1050 to, unless you play at 4k ultra settings, you will be bottlenecked really bad.

Ok so a couple things here.

Your cpu is very old and EXTREMELY weak.

This means that even with that gpu upgrade do NOT expect to run any modern game or if they launch somehow don't expect any good performance as your cpu is just so weak.

Can your righ handle a 1050ti? Depends what psu do you have and what 1050ti are you buying? Psu in detail (so model and such not just wattage).

If you wish to play todays games you'll need a whole new computer any money spent upgrading this one is wasted as even the best cpu on this platform is still FAR weaker than the lowest end new amd cpu you can buy.

These cards are at complete opposite ends of the performance spectrum. If you’re able to buy an RTX 3080, buy one, then upgrade the rest of your computer along with it. If you have absolutely no desire to upgrade your whole system the 1050ti is all your current system will really be good for (I’m guessing since you only listed your mobo). For the PSU question it completely depends on what card you get. A 1050ti most likely does not need a PSU connector but you’ll have to check the specific model you’re looking at. A 3080 absolutely will need multiple PSU connections but you should know whether or not your current PSU can even handle a 3080 in the first place.

Or is it bottlenecked too much?

Or can I actually run the GPU?

And my CPU is AMD A6 5400K. And my PSU is a generic one, the Brand is YAK and 450 watts and this PSU doesn't have a 6 pin connector, I plan to upgrade my CPU after the GPU, so my question is, will GTX 1050 work on it? Or Not?

It can work but it is NOT safe to do so.

Whilst the 1050ti does not need a pcie 6pin that psu is utter crap and can EASILY kill your system as currently it barely uses like 60w and you'll more than double the load you have now so the chances of the pc literally catching on fire becomes very high.

I can NOT recommend you do this at all.

Those molex to 6 pin adapters are also NOT DONE they are very known to actually also just catch on fire because of horrendous quality of the cables and sockets.

Wattage means nothing for a psu if it is bad quality and yours joins the pc killer category.

Really just don't spend any money now and save up for a whole new system I am not joking when I say this that the a6 has the power of a higher end dual core from 2007. That wasn't enough to run games anymore in 2013 at all. I mean it will struggle running minecraft.

Your system is just that low end that putting money into it now is just a huge waste and danger as it is right now.
