Razer Blade 14 - Which version to buy?

Hi,

 

Im starting school this fall and need a new laptop.

Ive been looking at the new Razer blade 14 but im unsure of which version to buy.

 

Ive heard the 3080 can't utilise enough power really make it better then the 3070 version, but im unsure about the 3060 (1080p) vs 3070 (1440p) comparison.

I dont game that much but ill will be using some engineering software (don't really know which yet) for school, and i'd like to play some games while i travel. (When that time comes again)

 

I've also heard rumors that razer has had some realiability issues in the past, but i've not found anything spesific. Does someone have some horror stories to tell?

In the same position as you but I do game.

 

I really think 3060 is good enough too at 1080p. At 1440p I doubt you will be making the most of 165hz screen anyway.

 

But I am worried about battery bloating

yes, be prepared for that (they have improved but still not good enough)
