Minecraft problem

Hey guys I have a problem with minecraft where I can only see signs, clouds and the tops of torches. Everything else is invisible (hitboxes detectable). I have re installed minecraft, the launcher, graphic drivers (multiple versions) and even java, the problem persists. I also tried using different resource packs. I don't have the time to do a fresh install of windows so I was wondering if this was a known problem or if I should just tinker.
This doesn't happen any other pc of mine
If it helps my PC config is an i5 2320 with a HD6990 and 8gigs or gskill ram.

 

Any help would be awesome,it is such a strange problem I have no idea what is wrong.

Happens to me occasionally. Re-installing the drivers usually fix it but also messing around with your Minecraft graphics settings sometimes help. Get the Optifine mod so you are able to mess around with more graphical settings which may help.

I remember there being an issue with the new AMD driver a friend of mine had the same issue he used this tutorial to fix it.

Something is wrong with your drivers. Just re-install them
