Which fans to buy as a replacement for pre-installed fans?

Hello everyone,

the pre-installed fans in my NZXT Noctis 450 are doing a terrible noise, and are not enough to keep my hdd cool after I installed an RTX 3080.

This is after ~1 hours of gaming Outer Wilds.

The case is hot as hell, can barely touch it.

Which fans should I buy to replace them? I just need 3*120mm for the front (intake), the one on the rear (exhaust) 140mm is doing fine.

Or should I opt for a completely different case?

Thank you for your help!

I checked out the case, and I'm not a fan of that front intake design. There doesn't appear to be much opening for airflow.

What kind of temps are you getting on your CPU/GPU during an extended game session? (Assuming they're both being air cooled)

My CPU was in the 50-55 range (i7-10700k with NZXT X52, 2x fans config intake from up), GPU was in the 60-65.

When I play in VR the GPU reaches 73° (on Beat Saber).

Okay, so those temps are fine.

A popular case fan for great airflow is the noctua.

Here is a link to the noctua site with different fan model comparisons.

What's the difference between the NF-S12A and the NF-S12B? The A version costs 6€ more on Amazon here in Italy, but I can't find any difference.

Also, if I wanted to change the case for better overall cooling, do you have any suggestions?

I just did a build in the Phanteks p400a digital, and it's a really nice case.

Any mesh front panel style cases are usually great for air flow.
