I have the choice of these psu's, (keep in mind i am australian so we get higher prices)

I saw someone say that gigabyte was not a great psu brand because it will kill my system, is that true?

the asus 550w should do fine but if you want to upgrade in the future definitely go for something like 750w or 650w

You said you "wouldn't suggest it" even though it's one of the most highly recommended PSU's here on the forum. You don't see people getting them because not everyone comes to the forum for advice, people go out and buy worse things (like ASUS power supplies) before stopping by.

i said i wouldnt recommend it due to me not finding many people using them. again never really said it was a bad psu i dont know why my opinion is so hard to come by as i only recommend stuff i tried myself or some of my mates tried and none of my mates tried MSI so i just said go for asus. not too hard to comprehend

According to our official PSU Tier List here on the Forum, the MSI is best-in-class for its pricerange.

The only good PSU that ASUS makes is the "THOR" and it's still only a single-rail power supply.

The P GM specifically is that bad.

The AP GM is allright
