Rec replacement psu for old system

unixchan

I've got a system with a 4790k, 1080, 750ti, D5, 3x 7k hard drives, 2x sata ssds, nvme, 7x 120m fans, and a dead PSU. I'd like to see this system relegated to NAS duty but for now it's what I've got.

I'm thinking of picking up a super flower leadex iii 750w or the supernova p2 650w. Looking to get a quality PSU at a good value. Thoughts?

Two GPUs ? Are you going to be mining on this NAS ? A good 750W PSU doesn't sound unreasonable then, otherwise just get rid of both GPUs, keep it on iGPU and get a cheap 450/550W PSU like Corsair CV or CX.

I use it for gaming, vfio, and as my workstation. I'll eventually make the system a dedicated NAS box and drop the GPUs when I get a newer system. That's just not in the cards right now unfortunately. I made this thread because I was unsure if a 750w psu was an overspend.
