I know this is probably going to be a very dumb question, brand new builder here... please point me towards an already raised topic and delete this if im repeating someone else, I tried to search but couldn't find an answer...

Currently building in the NR200 and was going to get a custom length EPS cable as my current SX800-LTI cable just about reaches the mobo socket, thought if I'm gunna do that, might as well go custom for all the cables.

Enter my confusion, regarding the bridged PCI-E cables, I cannot figure out if I need the 6+8 bridged or the 8+6 bridged. I saw a video that lead me to think I should get the 6+8 but comparing the bevels on the pin ports, looks as though I need the 8+6 cable instead? I'm running a Zotac 2070 Super mini

Again, sorry for the dumb question, didn't want to dump money into something and wait 3 weeks only to find out I got the wrong thing....

After a long wait I can confirm, cablemod need to sort their diagrams out and option 2 would've been the correct option... Rip me..

@phoxoto our diagrams are correct, and we do mention on the site "All connectors are shown with the latch on the bottom side." as well actually. So you take that info and the connector orientation and match that up accordingly to the connector orientation you have on your GPU (or motherboard EPS with the same logic being applied). If you ordered the wrong part, please put in a support ticket and we can help with a remake at a very friendly discounted price for you to help out with this.

Where were y'all when I first raised this thread tho 😅😂

Genuine question, why not have the latch in the top side in the diagram or have the comment attached to the diagram of the part people are customising instead of tacked onto the end of an easily skimmable bit of text? Admittedly, not the strongest of readers, so my bad for not spotting it despite several searches and even creating an account on this site just to ask for a second opinions.

@phoxoto I did miss the topic originally, however, you should always go to us directly of course for any questions or concerns when ordering. We have a support page here:

https://cablemod.com/support/
Typically you'll receive a reply same day, we try to be quite fast with those. Many builds and configurations though, the front facing side is the side where the latch isn't showing, which is why we matched that for the configurator, so you see it as you will in your build, just to explain that piece.
