I need help with my xbox 360 controller!

Sleepkuh

So my friend gave me his xbox 360 controller so I could play nba 2k with him. But after I plugged it in, it kept saying USB device not recognized. I tried follow lots of videos which would all tell me to go into my device manager and update my driver in the other devices tab. But for some reason I don't have that tab. I dont know what to do anymoreeeeeee!

Try connecting the 360 controller to multiple other computers. If it does the same thing on those PC's too, chances are it's either damaged in some way or it's a knockoff controller. If it works on other PCs then it might just be your PC or Windows installation.
