Error "Nvlddmkm" ID 13 since newest windows and nvidia update

Hey guys can anyone help me? I'm getting these floods of error in event viewer any time I try and start a game, it freezes up my PC and even crashes it. 50/50 shot

System specs

Ryzen 7 2700x

16gb Gskill 3200mhz ram

RTX 2070

Things I have tried:

Underclocked GPU

DDU'd GPU drivers

downloaded older GPU drivers

(Cant roll back windows update for some reason)

checked GPU temps everything seemed fine.

Any help would be welcome, I checked the Nvidia forums but one post from 12 years ago is pretty inactive.

Any other mention is on the most recent driver where 2 people have the same issue.

Allright, seems like it's a power draw issue, when idle everything is fine, when I push the PC boom, errors, will try and plug it into a different outlet tomorrow, maybe PSU dying? (rather PSU than GPU with these prices)

Please don't tell me I need a new GPU, not in these awful times......

The first thing I would try is booting a live linux or windows to go install and see if you also have crashing/stability issues. If not, it's probably windows being windows and you might just need to reinstall. If you still have problems in a different install/OS it could be a hardware issue.

why no dark mode?

Seems like it might be related to power, when idle or browsing it's fine, when I start a game like Enlisted, War thunder or any other demanding game boom, errors galore, will try plugging it into a different outlet tomorrow and see if that fixes it.

I had a VERY similar issue with my eGPU, that was related to interference. Are you using a PCIe riser? (even if you're not you could also try lowering PCIe version in the BIOS in addition to other outlets or even PSUs of course)
