Power throttle

since gaming laptops usually throttle due to power limits of low wattage charger what if i just bought a higher wattage charger separately??

I am guessing the laptop will still take only as much as the original charger due to software restrictions, help???

Not gonna help. For example with graphics cards, power limit is defined in bios and also hardware is usually just enough to handle what was defined in that bios. There is also issue of cooling, since adding more power doesnt mean you can cool it down.

Not really, for one, you never really using all of the laptop maximum cpu and gpu power limit because some games tend to be more cpu intensive and other more gpu intensive, if you could you probably run into thermal throttle first which in return decreased overall power limit
