Minimum requirements for windows 10

Go to solution Solved by BondiBlue,

Yes, but for such an old machine Windows 10 is not a good option.

However, Windows 10 will work with 2GB of RAM just fine, even the 64-bit version.

Hello. Is it possible to run a windows 10 with 2gb ram? I need to buy a very old PC with windows 10 but all of the available options at the price range I want are 2gb DDR2.

I will not run any resource consuming software. Just windows.

Make sure you get the 32 bit version of Windows, not 64 and you will be fine for basic tasks.

Yes but it wont be a good experience at all. If you want a somewhat acceptable web browsing and basic windows experience on older hardware, aim for atleast 4G RAM, dual core CPU with hyperthreading and some dedicated graphics card.

I can confirm this. I have windows 10 64 bit working fine on a laptop with 2gb ram and a core 2 duo. Think it is like 12 years old.

Can confirm Core2Duo 4Ghz OC and 8GB DDR2 with an SSD (Gen2 265MB/s) works with Win10 relatively well outside of updates taking time...

General Web browsing is fine... YT 1440p60 offloaded to my 2GB HD7790 (260X)

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
