So, probably not much of this will be a new story but here we go.

Ordered a gigabyte RTX 3080 back in November. I was told 4-6 weeks. since then I have sent many emails, and phone calls to inquire about delays and updates. every time i have been told a couple weeks, or "I don't know just be patient or get a refund." some times not so nicely. well, we have hit month 7 and I was a bit tired of the run around so i sent email. I was told my order had been cancelled. I checked my phone, and my email finding nothing from CC, but customer support said they would ask and let me know. i have now heard nothing, and have not received a refund for the card. They have gone from incompetent and greedy, to fraudulent thieves.

 

TLDR: 7 month of "wait or get a refund" and then finally finding out they forgot to let me know it was cancelled or give me a refund and now they wont answer.

a mix of long work weeks, constant house hunting/ setup and other time consuming things. bit busy not to take them at their word when they say its just delays. But at this point I'm just taking some time off to go handle it.
